เมื่อวันอังคารที่ 26 สิงหาคม 2551 ที่ผ่านมา ทางวิทยาลัยมิชชั่นได้จัดโปรแกรมเพื่อต้อนรับนักศึกษา คณาจารย์ เจ้าหน้าที่ ในภาคเรียนการศึกษาใหม่ ซึ่งในครั้งนี้ทางวิทยาลัยมิชชั่นได้เชิญชวนให้คณาจารย์ได้แต่งชุดครุย เพื่อขึ้นไปบนเวที ซึ่งก็เป็นพิธีการที่จัดขึ้นเป็นประจำทุกปี สร้างความน่าตื่นตา เพราะชุดครุยที่หลากหลาย สถาบัน
แสดงให้เห็นว่าวิทยาลัยมิชชั่นของเรา เป็นสถาบันอุดมศึกษานานาชาติที่รวบรวมคณาจารย์ที่มาจากหลากหลายประเทศจริง ๆ ซึ่งนั่นก็หมายความว่า สถาบัน วิทยาลัยมิชชั่นของเรา เป็นแหล่งอุดมข้อมูลการศึกษาที่เหมาะสมกับนักศึกษาที่แสวงหา ความรู้ ในวิชาหลากหลายแขนง และหลากหลายรูปแบบ ซึ่งเหตุนี้ก็จะทำให้ชีวิตของนักศึกษาสามารถปรับตัวและเรียนรู้ได้ง่ายจริง ๆ
ในครั้งนี้นายกสโมสรนักศึกษา คุณ Sandy George ก้ได้กล่าวรายงานนักศึกษาที่เข้าศึกษาที่วิทยาลัยมิชชั่นดังต่อไปนี้

“ I bring your greetings this morning from the Student Council of Mission College.
How is the student body made up, this new Academic Year of 2008.
Well, we are approximately 965 all together – as if last night (26th) Aug (Some have still to complete registration).
And if I count those who started back in June at the Inter-Semester, 233 of us are brand new students this Academic year.
Of the almost 965 studying in MC this year 61 % of us are female and 39% are male. The guys obviously get to have more choices. If we look at the program things are even better for the guy. 81% of the students in the thai Programs are female.
There are 31 of us who are already married. The remaining 97% are still single.
We cover a wide span of ages. The older of our students is 63 years of age, The youngest is 17.
This semester we have 5 new flags to add to our student collection because we have, for the first time, student from Guinea, Korea, Honduras, Spain and Tanzania. We have lost 3 flag from France, Mongolia and Seychelles.
This year altogether we come from 41 different countries. As a total student body 61 % of us come from Thailand and 39% of us from other countries.
If we count just this campus at Muak Lek, 49% come from other countries and 51% of us come from Thailand.
On this campus 57% of us are in international program of study (Gard&Undrgrad)
Well – that’s us – that’s what we look like-the student body of Mission College for 2008.
I think we are in for a very good time.
